I'm Abigail, the forager and owner of The Mill, a new dynamic event venue and event planning business based in Helena, Montana.
As a daughter of a mortician, I grew up witnessing how wallflowers are the backbone of every event. It amazed me to watch my father anticipate needs before they were spoken. This began my love of hosting and helping people when they needed it the most.
Fast forward several years, a teaching degree, a brush with a con artist, and various jobs in our community, I embarked planning my most difficult event to date: a music festival. It is in this (insane) challenge that I revived my love for hosting.
So, after several years of planning and executing weddings, themed parties, and a music festival, the team and I decided to raise it to the next level - a boutique venue and retail incubator program in Downtown Helena.

Our business model is designed after a mullet: business in the front, party in the back.
In the front offices, retail incubators are invited to rent out the space to build up their business plans before taking the leap to a commercial agreement. We help provide resources to set you and your business up for success.
In the back, The Mill provides a fun, morphable space that helps bring your event dreams to life. From weddings to birthday parties to board meetings - we have the space for you.
